Renko's Detroit Diesel 4-71 has been rebuilt twice, and every step is on video. Most of the work was done with Adrian, a Detroit Diesel mechanic.

The first rebuild was in 2019, after the engine had seized: taking it out and apart, rebuilding it, then craning it back into the boat, aligning it and the first sea trial. At the end of 2020 it came out again so we could fix an oil leak and make some improvements.
